I couldn't find any info on Head-Fi about this tablet so I thought I'd just put this out there.
Now I know we can't expect great sound quality from a tablet not designed around audio, but I thought I might get at least decent sound quality from the thing. This isn't the case, the sound is pathetic. There's no point in me going into a lot of detail, so I'll just tell you it sounds bad. The sound signature is completely screwed up, there's a lack of detail and it just sounds weak and congested. There is also a noticeable hiss with most music apps. This is with an Ultrasone HFI-580, BTW.
This is a great tablet overall, and I would highly recommend it for most things, but if you order one don't expect to be using it as a portable source. An iPod Shuffle HO sounds better.
