Where to buy an "ancient" cd player

I am wondering where to buy those "ancient" cd players in USA, such as philips lhh500, kenwood 8020 or panasonic sl ps900, those made in 1980s or 1990s.

I think they are cheap and great for beginners, but it seems few are sold and mentioned here.

I have one of those "ancient" portable Sony's from the 1980s and I can't fathom why I would want to use that over a newer model that isn't so finicky about burned cds or cd with a minor scratch in it. Discs that derail that older player, play find in a 1990s Panasonic model. Granted, that old thing is built like a tank (metal for a portable!) but its got its issues. wink.gif

Take a look at the original Rega Planet. One went for $175 not too long ago on Audiogon.

Mine sounds great and the cast aluminum case is way cool.

Wouldn't you prefer a record player than a CD player? Just giving the OP some other ideas.
