AR Speakers

Hello there,

 

Recently my uncle gave me his AR-4xa speakers. I went online to do some research on them, after ofcourse hearing them, but it seems there isn't a whole lot of info on them... more so about the AR-4x speakers.


I understood the big difference with the 4x is the tweeter.

Is there anyone here with more basic info regarding these speakers? Where they were manufactured, what period of time, etc ?

There is a nice PDF regarding AR early speakers in above link too beerchug.gif I was real close to nabbing some AR-18s but settled for my current Polks tongue_smile.gif

so it's 35+ years old, impressive regarding the fact it's still working good.
