AMB mini^3 problem

Hi guys, i have a faulty mini 3 amp which i bought from a fellow head-fier. The battery seems to die out really fast and after that the battery couldnt be charged anymore even with an external charger. The rechargeable function for the amp is also not working and the LED behind the amp doesnt switch on when i plug in the adapter. Can someone tell me what's wrong with the mini 3? Any help is deeply appreciated.

You may get a quicker response over in AMB's own DIY forum - http://www.amb.org/forum/mini3-portable-headphone-amplifier-f16/

I think the batterry is not rechager class...

You can change it to rechager class.

I'd check the AC power adapter to make sure it is providing the required 15~24 VDC.

The fact that the recharging indicator LED is not lighting is a good clue - that portion of the circuit is so simple. It's just a dropping resistor connected to the LED and this is implemented in front of any other part of the circuit - so there is pretty much nothing that would go wrong with it. If it's not lighting - then you are not getting enough voltage and your battery will never be recharged.
