The wunderkind that is Bjork has a new track out,
leaning more towards the electro side of the spectrum of her comprehensive work,

What do you think?

Is she one of the multitalented, genre bending artists and are there any like her?

I seem to only find this level of different ideas in prog rock and experimental electronica :(

It's a muzu.tv link to give the artist a revenue source

Crystalline is something quite special. She's also released the tracks Cosmogony & Virus, which are good, if not as impressive. Also, try googling "The Crystalline Series", Bjork's teamed up with a number of producers to do some interesting takes on Crystalline. Even the basic Crystalline track that was first out was the Serban Ghenea remix. There are also the Matthew Herbert remixes that edge even further towards the minimalist/IDM sound and the Omar Souleyman versions that push Bjork's songs into new territory with middle-eastern influences.

Thanks for the tip off o2smile.gif

Yes wow I never realised the diversity in this new album, she even has a traditional "throat singer".

Got caught into buying the extra stuff for her iPad app, Biophilia. Interesting stuff. Would probably trade my small toe -- maybe not -- to be able to see one of her concerts in person at this point.
