I'd have to give the nod to the HD650s. They are full size cans so that is to be expected. Plus they are better at generally more music genres in my opinion. But they will require amping to get the best out of them. The biggest differences you'll get between these 2 phones/IEMs would be in the sound staging. Of course the sound signatures are quite different from each other but with open cans they have pretty expansive sound staging, especially when compared to IEMs. Now if you're looking for portability on the go then the Westones are a no brainer, plus if you want isolation the Westone's win hands down. You can get the HD 650s from amazon for $370.00 on sale (just add it to your cart to get the special pricing as its required by law for amazon to do this to comply with manufacturer guidelines).
