wasapi exlusive issue

Hi all!

 

I just sold my desktop pc from which I used foobar wasapi out exclusively via USB and optical to my dac without problems. I had to sell my desktop and switch to my HP laptop (no SPDIF out). For some reason Foobar wasapi won't use exclusive mode with the HP laptop using USB.

 

Whats going on?

It should work.  Can you select USB output at all?  Did you set the buffer length to 50ms when switching to WASAPI?  USB output works normally outside of Foobar, right?

USB wasapi from foobar outputs sound, but the windows volume control still works...
