I was absolutely shocked that they overturned it.  I wasn't sure either way, but they are supposed to need conclusive evidence to overturn.

That said, another OT nail biter! What a great bunch of bowl games.  I hope tonight's is good!

18-12...

Where the hell is brother Metal?

Last I saw he was raging against my beloved Tigers. Is that Chan Marshall your avy?

Cal's recruiting class just keeps getting better! I'm very excited for tomorrow's rematch. Any Score predictions? Who do you WANT to win?

19-15 if NIU holds on.

Soco for tomorrow, I guess.

Same exact record here - 19-15, with one final game...

Watching the BCS National Championship reminds me why I prefer professional football.

That was one boring NCG.  It was massively overshadowed by the awesome games that were the Rose, Fiesta, and Sugar.  YAWN.

Oh, and 19-16.  Monkeys could do as well as I did.

It's been fun fellas.  See you next year.

20-15.

The team that won the NCG is the team that I picked at the beginning of the season. Boring game, though. The best part of it was the Northwestern alumnus saying "honey badger" over and over and over. Also, what kind of weirdo gets 21 points by 5 field goals, one touchdown and a missed PAT?

I'm glad Les lost. He's a fraud.

Yeah ole Mussburger is weak.  I like Brad Nessler much better.  Heck I like Mike Patrick, Sean McDonnough, Chris Fowler, and probably a few others I'm not thinking of who are ESPN CFB play by play guys better.

Not a fan of Musburger.  But he's nowhere near as bad as Verne Lundquist.  Can't stand that guy, and it seems like all he does is SEC games nowadays.  And Roll Tide! biggrin.gif

As far as announcers, I like the two guys who do ESPN friday night games, Rod Gilmore and Tessitore. Nessler/Blackledge is another good duo. I also like the guys on Fox pretty well.

To be honest perhaps the best announcers were when Mike Tirico, Gruden, and Jaws did the Orange Bowl.  ****** game, but they were very good.  Quick, accurate, no gaffs (*cough* verne lundquist *cough*) and even funny.  Guess the NFL is superior in yet another way...

Tirico and Blackledge did the ESPN Radio call on the NCG last night.  WAAAAY better than the TV crew was.

Ah well at least it was a decisive game.
