There is a short in my SR-80's cable on the right side of the y-joint. It still works, but I can't turn my head much while using them and have to constantly reposition the cord. I don't have the patience to put a cable together myself, and if I send them back to Grado for repair, I won't have anything to use while I wait. Are there any websites that have pre-assembled cables I can order so I can just open them up, solder them on and be good to go? I've been searching for quite a while and the closest I've found are recabling services that require me to ship them out and cost a good deal more than just buying a brand new pair.

If you need help with soldering and repairing your Grados, I'm willing to answer any questions.
Shipping Grados costs about 10-12 dollars and depending on your situation and how helpful they are, you could get a free cable, or they'll ask for $25. I don't think they'll charge you if you ask nicely though, they're good people :)
