It's possiable the Dayton Audio with Lapei Amp. would sound better then the M-Audios
The Dayton Audio speakers and Lepai amp. is upgradeable, swapping the speakers or the amplifier.
I just like the M-Audio because everything is made by one company, comes in one box, little bit easier to hook up.
Also I think it would be easier to resell the M-Audio.
