Monoprice Cables Are The Best!!!

My new cables from Monoprice just arrived. I bought like 5 or 6 different wires. It all costed $20 including shipping. I got nice thick RCA cables for my amp and speakers. I got a 10ft long USB cable for my Apogee One. I couldn't find that cable anywhere else other than from the manufacturer for like $30. This usb terminal is smaller than the mini one, which is universally used.

The thing I like most is that they are soft and flexible. They are not like garden hoses that weigh a ton and they don't loosen the 3.5mmm socket on your devices from pulling caused by their weight. They just easily tuck away behind your desk or stand. The RCA terminals fit very tightly for a solid connection. Oh, I forgot to mention, they all have gold plated terminals.

Nothing cheap here. Really well designed cables at a reasonable price. This is how much cables should cost. I am not one of those who believes that cables are going to do something magical to the equipment and make them sound muuuuchh better. However, at these prices it is worth upgrading to higher quality cables for me because the ever so small cost is worth the ever so small increase in quality.

I whole heartedly recommend Monoprice.com for any type of cable purchase. You wont regret it, trust me. Each cable costs like $2 or $3. Just can't be beaten!

Well to me cables can bring a noticable change in SQ so picking these cables up for such low price might not be a bad idea compared to using very low quality cables at least but that's the question, how they sound.

I've for example got 3 different types of cables and notice a difference between all of them. The 2.5m extension cable actually brings wider soundstage. A thin more portable cable I got brings a bit more bright/cold sound and another thicker cable I got brings a more forward sound characteristic and slightly stronger bass compared to the thin cable.

Some picture would be nice?

So your thicker cables sound thick and your thinner cables sound thin?

I'm also a big fan of monoprice cables :)  I have the same reasons I like their cables a lot: cheap and flexible.  I've seen some ridiculous cables that actually took effort to bend and insert into equipment.  Don't let the loons try to put you down for liking a "cheap" cable!

I like them, but I would like to see them to use at least basic OFC in their cables...

Cheap, flexible, tight fit. Just how I like them.

Monoprice cables are amazing.

There not mine fell apart.

Lol, how'd you break a Monoprice cable?  They're certainly fairly sturdy.  And at the price they command, you can afford to buy a few spares.

I am a System Integrator by trade.  and yes I have purchase Monoprice...    can not beat it for pricing...  especially when I buy in bulk.  but they are cheap.  and made cheaply.  couple of the HDMI head broke on me during installation.   for HDMI, I can not see the different between  it and better grade, until you reach Kimber Kable/Nordest like level.   But on the interconnect.  yes there are a different.  if you have a high-rez system.  you will hear the different right away.

but you know what.  95% of my client can not hear the different.  So I still use them.    What I hate...  their stupid label is on all the product.  and I get chew on the pricing.

I love monoprice.  One thing I notice though is their XLR ends seem a little cheap - they fit really tight and I think I prefer Neutrik ends.

Agree . .  you get what you pay for.  Bought a HDMI from monoprice in the past - sucked: Loose connectors at HDMI head right out of the box.  Returned it within days.

I've never seen this and I am have 15-20 HDMI cables purchased so far (for me and others)- all are excellent quality, especially for the money.
