Are you using a dual Firewire/USB cable plugged into the wall? Last night I got the sad face on my 5.5G and hooked it up to the computer/wall, restored it, and copied 95GB of music in one operation. Haven't had any problems syncing. My problem is the stability. So this time I didn't sync and videos so well see. Though I wasn't using it for videos before hand. Hopefully after this restore there are less issues. But it didn't take too long to sync it all. Maybe 2 hours or so. I really believe the dual cable is key.ALSO: I contacted Freeze, and asked if I sent him a document, would he be able to update the Original Post, he said he would. My goal is to make it easy on him so he can just copy and paste it. So if anyone has links, or steps to contribute, I'd like to get a document together that is very comprehensive so people don't have to search this whole thread. May also cut down on the same requests coming in. So if you have some helpful information or tips, please send them to me.
I may get a Google document going so we can all work on it together. The end result will be emailed to Freeze for updating of the original post.
