Hey D, how much did you pay for the 256GB CF card?

$300, and I am offered with return for a full refund if it doesn't work with my ipod.

Nice price, please let us know how that work for you.

I imagine you got it from that Chinese seller you spoke about a couple of months ago.

Definitely. It may take a while for me to receive it due to the slow shipping.

Yes from that Chinese seller. It normally sells for $491 at Aliexpress for one piece, but still way below the sell price of other brand names. But I was told their CF cards also use the Micron/Intel Flash chips.

The $300 was offered to me as the sample price. I didn't take the offer at that time as I thought the SDXC cards are much less expensive options until one day my ears told me to stick to the CF cards for better sound. It came surprise to me as I was switching between a CF and a SDXC on one of my diymod's. Then I tested different CF cards but didn't notice any difference between the CF's.

If this card works (and I do have higher confidence in the CF's from my experience), I can help any of your guys to get the same price if you are interested.

How sweet is my salesgirl for the 256GB CF. She makes it more difficult for me to return the card.

Hey guys, wondering if you've seen this issue.  I just restored my iMod, and it is giving me issues syncing.  Im trying to sync about 12,000 songs to my iMod.  Problem is when it starts syncing it'll copy about 40 files, and then the ipod freezes.  iTunes then says that it can find the file and I have to reset the iPod.  It's really frustrating as I had about 8000 songs on the iMod previously before I decided to add a lot more.  I'm running a 128GB SD Card (CF Adaptor).  If that makes any differance.  I've tried with an older version of iTunes and still the same issue.

I Rockboxed the iMod, and that works, however, I really don't care for the Rockbox interface.  The standard iPod software seemed a lot easier to navigate.  Plus I like that iTunes orgainizes all the music for me.

Any ideas if this is due to the SD Card?  I didn't have this issue last time I don't think.  Can't quite remember :( :o

What happens when you sync using foobar2000 or MediaMonkey?

Good question, haven't tried yet. I think after several hours of headache and numerous formats it may *MAY* be working. Fingers crossed.

For me, I boot into the stock Apple OS for all file transfers as the USB mode on Rockbox is not reliable on my machines.  But almost all of my music is in the iTunes database.
