Does this adapter work with the Tarkan adapter for 5g/5.5g?

It does work with it so is this one. I know Tarkan sells a similar adapter but any of those two work.

Here is an example, there are other vendors, and yes they will degrade but it'll take a while and you can always replace them pretty inexpensive.

Do you know where this supercap is made? I recently ordered some caps from Digi-Key, including a pair of 4.7uf/63V/5% Kemet film caps. But I noticed these Kemet's were made in Indonesia while the ones I previously ordered from Mouser were made in Finland. I have not tried those ordered from Digi-Key yet.

Edit: I have done some reading about these supercaps. While I believe I have just hit a jackpot with the latest mod, this thing could be a shocker. I WILL definitely diymod one with these caps.

Tarkan  also sells this adapter, he says he is getting it directly from the manufacturer so he guarantees the compatibility.

To me honestly they are the same.

You can use and fit the 128gb card or the cf to sdxc adapter and 128gb sdxc card.

Wow, that is pretty tempting considering one can easily get a 128GB SDXC card for around $75 LINK

Might have to start watching eBay for iPod Minis now.

iPod Minis can be RockBoxed and can then play FLAC files correct?

Well I got couple of minis with me, great shape currently with the 32 gb but can be upgraded for a larger one. Don't forget you'll need the cf to sdxc converter for around 15$.

Wow the price of the sd cards have dropped to reasonable prices.  Best part is they are amazon fulfilled so easy returns if it doesn't work.  May finally getting round to redoing this.  I'd tried the compact flash card which didn't work (had gaps in playback).  Sadly the 256 card is still overpriced (£411!!!!!).

I experienced some track skipping issues (during playback) with one CF card. What I have found out is the issue most likely due to damaged cable ribbon. That ribbon is susceptible to damage and very fussy sometimes. Fortunately these cable ribbons are cheaply available and you can stockpile a few just in case that sad face shows up. Other than that the CF's are working great for me.

Yes the 128gb SDXC is a damn good deal.

Same here changing the ribbon cable made the difference. There are plenty available on eBay.

Hi,

My iPod 5G is coupled with a 256gb Crucial m4 (and adapter) and I got lot of reboot. What can I do to fix this? Is that normal? It is not with Rockbox, it only runs original Apple firmware.
