So, today i finally got some proper components to run my k702 off of (Cambridge Audio DACMagic, Schiit Lyr), and it is absolutely godlike when listening, but i've noticed an annoying noise in the background. it's a bit like very soft white noise, and it's driving me insane when any song gets quiet. i'm trying to figure out what it could be, and only idea i could come up with was that i need to get a power conditioner, especially since i'm running my stuff off of a godawful $2 surge protector.
Does this seem like a reasonable solution? obviously the best solution for this kind of thing would be something like a Red Wine Audio Black Lightning but i don't feel like spending over, say $50 on it.
