I currently have a GS-X - extremely nice amp but have been using with older Benchmark DAC1-USB. I've found that I prefer the sound of my newer Anedio D1 but since it has no XLR output, I would like to find a balanced DAC similar to the Anedio to use with my GS-X. Have been reading a lot of nice things about the W4S DAC 2 and thought it might be an excellent match with the GS-X. I intend to keep both my Anedio and GS-X but in different locations. My primary headphones are HD800s but also use balanced K701s from time to time.
