Has anyone had a listen to the Asus Eee Pad? Any idea what the sound quality is like for this thing?

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

Hello,
I've had the Asus eee pad TF101 for a while and own UE TF10 pro as my main IEM.
I have to say, SQ of the eee pad wasn't all that bad. It was fairly dynamic and no big base etc. However, it does implement some sort of SRS sound technology, which isn't that good for the sound quality.
There is a custom 'voodoo' rom available for rooted asus eee pads, but I found the sq not to improve that much when installed voodoo.
If it is for casual listening sessions, then the eee pad will do just fine. However, the iPad sounds better and the HP Touchpad even better than that (allthough with lower volume).
Bottom line; you won't be dissapointed by the sound, but you're not going to be thrilled either.
If you have any questions whatsoever, please PM me. I am in the possession of the HP touchpad and have owned the iPad 2, iPad 1 and Asus eee pad TF101.
Grz,
ric.
