Recommendations - PC audio -> Little Dot II+ & AKG K501

Hey everyone. Back after a while away normal_smile%20.gif

I've recently done a new desktop build, and am looking to complete my audio setup. For the last week since my build, I've been running onboard sound -> Little Dot II+ (stock tubes) -> AKG K501

My motherboard is an Asus M4A87TD-USB3, with the VIA VT1818 24bit/192kHz codec onboard.

I'd like to upgrade the sound card ... recommendations? I'm aiming to do some gaming (retro stereo and more modern 3D stuff), music listening (foobar2000 + flac) and movie watching (DVDs with 5.1 and DVD rips with stereo downmix).

I've done a fair bit of reading up and have come to the conclusion that the Asus Xonar DS would suite me pretty well. Just wondering, are there any better options that I've missed at a maximum $150 pricepoint?

Well, to update anyone interested, I ended up going with a Xonar DS. And the combination is absolutely brilliant!
