Hey Cifani, How big is the opening for the headphone jack in those cases? most of my cases have it too small for some headphones, specially the ones with custom plugs, ie: switcraft, not to say the huge calrad.

ipod i have a griffin hard leather, but havent used it yet.

On the YoTank, its 13/20ths of an inch. On the case thats free (that i have posted in the FS forum) its modded to .5 inches by 3/4ths of an inch. I can only use a Neutrik mini plug, but i haven't tried the new Viablue's. Ill have to get a mod to move it

No case on my nano ftw! Want it small and light.

My regular ipod (formerly belonging to my sister) has some bulky plastic case that I would consider removing if I could figure out how.

@JamesMcProgger

Love that case you have there for the classic. But sadly i can't find a griffin product here in India. Would even love to try out their Navigate but to no avail.

Actually i've checked the local apple store for a case for my already heavily back-scratched classic but surprisingly they don't stock any accessory for the classic. They only love to provide support for the touch and iphone apparently.

Its now that i've given up any thought of casing my ipod. Afterall Apples are really sexy bare-bodied isn't it!

Has anyone have any experience with Zagg InvisibleShield, Bodyguardz or a similar adhesive full body shield for the ipod?

I know my brother had one for one of his phones, he liked it.

I have the Speck ToughSkin case on my classic - it's some serious drop-proof protection.

The Zagg invisible shield is very good.

It has all round coverage and will not be scratched with any thing less than a sharp knife.

I have had one on my iPod touch for over a year and the only difficulty is that over time the corners will peel back a little and hold lint.

At least it has for me but I carry is loosely in my shirt pocket all day and evening and constantly pullet out to check on things, read or play games.

that said, this applies only to the littler flaps at the corners, there is no peeling on the screen cover at all.

There is nonimpact protection given by the shield but then  I think anything likely to happen would be a drop to the floor, and I don't believe that there  is a reasonable solution to that menace.

Not at all, i think their is a tool in the box and that helps you put it down. Just make sure the surface is clean and you dont touch the sticky side on it.

This case with Grantwood Technology screen protectors.

I'm not a clumsy individual and never drop anything I deem important to me such as my iPod or my phone so I didn't go for a drop-proof hard case. What I did want, though, was a case that covered the scroll wheel/center button. Although it occasionally interferes with trying to cycle through my music, I can't stand the idea of a scratch anywhere on my iPod so went with this combination and it's been smooth sailing.
