So maybe this isn't new news, but wow I just have to say I listened to this on my HD650s and I was simply blown away. Up there with Dark Side of the Moon in overall quality, both artistic mertic and recording quality.

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

That album isn't what I would call reference quality, but it is better than most of his other albums. The song Whirlpool sounds pretty good because you can hear the room acoustics. I own every one of his albums (except for maybe Soul), and my favorite music wise is Human Being, but it has absolutely horrible sound quality.
When you compare something to a classic like DSOTM, you need to state which version of it you are referring to because there have been many.
