Audio-GD's site is confusing me - Page 3

I have quite a few Audio-gd products and I like them all and think they are surprisingly good deals for the money.  He offers a very wide variety of stuff but he is consolisating and working on business practices this year.  I dont find the site all that confusing esp for a non english speaking foriegn site.  They key is really the top where if straight out tell you what each product is and then the price list which also breaks everything down.  You were comparing the NFB-1 and NFB-10 which are 2 different types of products and it lists that in the table on the top.  Yes, there is a wide range of prices but he has a very wide-range of level products.  It also says straight out that one is ballanced while another is not and you know the ballanced products will be the high-end ones.  I think you're placing too much on the numbers which don't mean anything.  After having made dozens and dozens of products the numbers kind of blur out.  And note that there is a big difference between a ref-8 and a nfb-8.  Granted his customer support isn't the best but his and his assistance's english isn't very good and I don't know why they do all the email answering themselves.  With all thier products they must gets hundreds of emails a day.

Agree with post above, but audio-gd did make some very expensive single-ended gear in the past, at least one, the ST-7 preamp, is still available but not listed on the English pages. Balanced may have more detail but it is also less forgiving, so it is not a can of worms everyone would want to open.

To further haloxt's point, I have found that poor recordings (like early Journey or Chris Isaak) are unlistenable with the higher end AGD gear. But on the other side of that coin is great recordings are amazing.
