Please send SuperMacro-iv.
Otherwise you should refund my money.

You mentioned that I sent SM4.
If so, you should show the evidence.
The receipt of post office can not proof that you sent SM4.
It only proof to send the package to me.

I hope that you became honest.

He bought my D3 and T3 easy to deal, best buyer I've seen

I purchased a D3 Python from him and it was defective.  The amp needed a total replacing of the output jack.  He apparently knew this was the case as he actually told me in an email that some headphones didnt work on it, this was not in the original listing.  He is also immensely hard to get a reply from.  I was very nice and understanding, giving the benefit of the doubt that he didnt realize all headphones should work on it, even though he seems well experienced in portable amps.  I am not sure why he would not tell me before hand that the output jack was glitching and only works when you apply pressure upwards on the jack.

Hi Susan.  Sorry for the delay in responding but I was out of touch.  If you haven't figured it out yet, I suggest you take a look at the user manual on iBasso's website.  It's only one page, but it will give you a basic knowledge as to how the amp/dac is configured.  Remember, if you choose to use the DAC out of a computer, you need to use the USB provided and don't forget to set your computer/soundcard to the appropriate settings.  If you don't change the settings, you will get the situation you are describing.  Are you working with a Mac?  I know how to configure if you are.

Let me know.

Gary

No, As I said it has a short in the output jack, that was the problem.

it must be replaced, if it is deemed repairable, I will repair it myself, if not, I will send it back to you for a refund.  The packing job was very poor Gary, I suspect this is why the output jack is so loose.  Odds are strong it was tossed and crushed under the weight of many things in the shipping pile bin at the post office.  It was not sufficiently packaged and protected.  I trust that you didnt send me it knowing this, youve got good foodback and seem a decent fellow.  But if its not repairable I have to send it back to you, Im hoping its a small fix and soldering job.

Have you tried using it as an amp only?  I have had this happen to me as well.  When the entire plug is in, there is no sound.  Are you using a Mac or a PC.  If you have a mac, I'd be glad to help get you set up.

Also, you mentioned in a previous post that you were going to try and fix it.  I wouldn't.  I believe you'd do more harm than good.  As I am 99.9% sure it is a hardware conflict and not a short, I'd would suggest you take a look at Head-fi for answers.  I seem to remember a thread dedicated to just this.

Mac or PC?

Its a pc, but again Im also using it as a portable amp with my sansa fuze.  When the headphones are half way in, sound is produced.  When they are fully in, no sound comes out, but when the headphone plug is lifted upwards, the sound comes out and sounds great.

I dont think its a hardware issue because it does the same thing as with the mp3 player or any other source I tried.  No sound when the headphones are fully plugged in unless you push it upward and hold it there.  It shows up on my pc and works so long as I again hold it upwards.  So im not sure what else it could be since Ive tested multiple mini cables, sources and headphones to be sure.  They are produce the same results :[

He has not replied since and has made a new listing for some amp after this last email was sent to him.

Bought a 16gig Sflo2 from Gary. He's a nice guy to deal with and a great deal for a great player.

Thanks Gary!
