Fostex HP-P1 Portable Amplifier and DAC for iPod/iPhone (Short REVIEW and Impressions Thread) - Page 96

People were wondering about the Beyer DT 1350 with the Fostex.  It is my preferred combo for portable use. If you can find the sweet spot, the bass goes pretty low. The NAD Viso is also easy to drive and sounds very neutral with good bass.

I was on the verge of selling mine as I've just got an A&K Jr. but after using the Fostex as an amp for it, I've decided to keep it and sell my GO-DAP X and iPod instead. It makes a massive difference to the Jr and has saved me splashing out on another amp too.

so i was planning to get these,

but i do have a question: i did read post about the DAC is only compatible with iOS, but it was like several years ago. any update firmwire that let p1 DAC work on android or PC? as i frequently change my player on the go, i really need a flexible one.

thanks :)
