Anyone in the EU that can help me split a 10m Van den Hul interconnect into smaller interconnects?

I am from Belgium and I need help to split my interconnect.

It is a Van den Hul The BAY C5 HYBRID 10m (http://www.vandenhul.com/p_B03.aspx).

I bought it at this lenght for my subwoofer. But now my sub is standing not very far from my speaker amp.

I can mail the 2 cables and pay for the service.

Or if anyone knows a nearby shop where I can send the interconnect?

Or anyone with other suggestions.

Why not send them back to VanDenHull?

I haven't found the email of Van den Hul yet, but I did found some dealers in the Netherlands. I contacted 2 dealers and one could do the splitting for 10 euro per split but he told me that he preferred me to buy those cables new and the other dealer has not responded yet. Maybe I should look for a specialist in audio cables near Brussels?

Do you believe the interconnects wil improve in sonics if they become shorter cables? It was just a little mess but now I have wrapped them up nicely it maybe ok to keep them in the shape they are. But if it would improve the sonics slightly if they are shorter in length then I would certainly want to split them up.

I just found out that The BAY C5 HYBRID interconnect is actually a coaxial cable so this means that maybe it is not ideal to use it to connect my dac to my amp via the rca connectors? The The BAY C5 HYBRID was recommended by an audio shop to connect my sub to my Signature amp. I am sorry but I am quite a newbie when it comes to cables.

I asked an audio specialist and he told me that this cable suits analog applications (It is special built for analog applications).

Digital cables have  75 en 110 Ohm ranges.

i've been interested in trying the VDH hybrid stuff. i would do the work for nothing but a length of the cable. if you sort shipping, but that might be a killer. its perfectly suited to analogue RCA, no problem with that. do you have the connectors needed?

Thank you very much for your offer and indeed the shipping might be a bit of a problem.

One of the VDH dealer in Zeeland (Netherlands) has replied he can help me with the splitting.

cool, sounds like you got it sorted, I wish i could find somewhere to buy the VDH hybrid stuff in smallish quantities, can you provide a link or contact? i would like to try their carbon/spc hybrid coax and triax myself, but i dont want to buy a whole roll just to try it out, which seems to be the only option available if you buy direct
