Ooh I didn't see the deposit thing. Yeah I can't really afford a huge deposit (I'm saving up for better headphones to use with the amp, so it's kinda like selling a car for gas money, at a lesser scale. But if we must...) but there's not need to worry about me disappearing since stealing it would basically ruin my chances of getting into a good college.

I would like to be part of the give-away only, I don't have time to give it a good listen for a loaner predicament only. So if possible enter me only for the drawing:

Not that you don't have the right to be part of any give-away events, but it would be a shame for someone to win who's goal seems to be to sell it and make money out of it just like you did for the SPL Phonitor give-away. Your reason for selling the Phonitor was because you had personal difficulties and because you needed money for other things along with the statement that you didn't see any significant improvement with your gear. When an awesome $2000 gear didn't improve your gear significantly, then you probably know that this one isn't going to be a significant improvement in your gear either. This only implies that the only reason you want to be part of this give-away is to be able to sell it. (You don't even have the time to try out the loaner gear.) There are some people who genuinely wants to be able to own a hi-end amplifiers without the funds to afford one. Again, NOT that you don't have any right to enter into give-aways (and I fully respect whatever rules/restrictions that will be determined by Jaben. Maybe you have to be part of the loaner program or maybe you don't), and it's not like you have any guarantee that you will win it, but maybe you can be a little less greedy and allow better chances for others to win who may have more genuine motives for entering the give-away draw.

Ugh.. I hope the deposit isn't to much! As a college student I rarely have much money....I hope the deposit doesn't force less-financially endowed ones away from the loaning program....

Just wait for somebody that has the loaner unit to be near you

I don't want to argue here, PM me if you have a problem with Phonitor for any reason. It's immature to even bring this up in public still and I have just as much right to enter a contest and win it as the next person.

Hm.. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by that. I thought if you were to be in a loaner program, everyone had to make a deposit?

As I have emphasized in the first and last sentence of my post. But to even more clarify, the focus of my post was NOT on your eligibility to be part of the give-away program, but rather, on what seems IMO to be an impure, and perhaps a bit greedy motif to sign up for the give-away, for the reasons I have stated in my original post.

I'm not here to argue either. Just stating my thought.

My motives for entering are as pure as anyone else's here, to listen to new audio equipment and see how it changes the sound of my current audio equipment and to see how it compares to my other amps. Please don't project onto me and please take this to PMs from here on, stop de-railing the thread.

No arguments please... It's called private message for a reason =)
The winner will be drawn out of the loaner list.
