iTunes 256 kbps Music Has A Spectrum That Is Very Close To Flac

Like the title says.....why does iTunes music have a spectrum analysis that is very close to flac? iTunes music does not cut off under 20 Khz. It goes up into 22 Khz. Well lets just say there is not a clear line all the way through like a normal mp3. Anyone know?

Thanks,

OK, I just discovered that not all iTunes music have spectrums above 20 Khz, but most do. It is still true that iTunes music does not have a straight line across the spectrum. I guess they are using some sort of software that better detects where the highs are that go over 20 Khz.
