Have the EF-6...no good with big orchestra classical (clips and smears). The EF is great with the th900, so go figure. My Darkstar is coming in in a couple of weeks. I bought it specifically to drive the HE-6 because the EF-6 is no good with it at louder volumes or more congested passages (shame on you Fang Brian). If the darkstar clips and smears with big orchestral classical I think I may have to be institutionalized. Will keep you posted.

the dark star will arrive on Thursday (or so says FedEx). I'll finally be able to give some initial impressions on how it pairs with the HE-6 and the other bunch of headphones in my stable. Need to be careful not to blow up any drivers!

Finally! I am so looking forward to your impressions. Would you also compare to a speaker amp set up? Anyway, thank you and enjoy!dt880smile.png
