Monster Turbines vs. Hippo VB

So I was making a list of IEMs to get because my birthday is pretty soon and I despretly need a new pair of IEMs my list consisted of about 10 different IEMs but I ended up narrowing it down to just the monster turbines and the hippo vbs. I am looking for lots of bass. Clean mids not recessed and nice highs (highs arent my main priority of the headphone mainly bass and mids). Main genres I listen to are dubstep/drum and bass/house/and some heavy metal. I would like to know which one would fit me the best.

Hippo VB is a great option in my opinion this IEMs are well worth the price. Turbine is not my piece of cake..

I like Turbines.

But i've found that Meelectronics SP51 little better + more durable + 3 bass ports.

Great earphones for a nice price.

If you want bass, i would recommend the Monsters. They're very punchy. though i never used the Hippo. I love bass as well, and the monster fulfilled that. just hope you get the perfect fit on the tips for you to get the 100% out of them. i listen to heavy metal and love drums as well.

 

just make sure you get new ones and not refurbished

I found an authorized dealer and they are selling turbines for 99$ free shipping :D and new.
