I was thinking about doing this... but I supposed I'm not sold yet on putting everything in the cloud.

I know, I know, nitpicking, but all for fun. It's cool to see that some people do use them still.

Well, you might want to check again, since all Hi-MD MiniDisc Walkmans since the MZ-DH10P (2005) can handle 320kbps MP3 natively, and all the latest generation PCDP's since 2002 or so can too; so technically, they are MP3 players.

Ah. Alrighty then. I stand corrected!

4GB and 16GB = Overkill for my uses (even though it's loaded with FLAC)
I think 2GB/4GB would be the sweet spot for me, I don't like carrying a lot of music I like to switch it up with stuff from my PC

I've been using Google Music since it was in beta and was really impressed with it, I was mainly using it on my work computer, I no longer have to drag a hard drive to work with me.  Then two weeks ago I dropped my ipod, and it crapped out on me, since then I've switched to using google music through my phone, and I have to say it's even been pretty solid on a 3g connection.  It has it's hickups, but I have no huge complaints.

I have a 4 GiB iPod Nano (2G) and a 1 GiB iPod Shuffle (1G).

In the past three years, I've replaced the music on each of them one time. I'm far more likely to be listening to music on my laptop unless I'm cycling or otherwise exercising.

8GB Rockboxed Sansa E280, 8GB Rockboxed Sansa Fuze & 8GB S:Flo2, 16GB MicroSDHC traveling between them...

With some firmware/kernel/android updates my SGS2 became an acceptable player too, IIRC it's the version with the 16GB storage and I have a 8GB MicroSDHC in there...

So I guess that even with 4 players I use on a regular basis I still have to answer 'none of the above'

16gb, Sony Walkman E-Series

Most of the music I put on was from my own cds, encoded with Lame 3.99.3 at the -V4 setting. A nice space-to-quality ratio and I can't tell the difference even at home. wink.gif
