I was surfing around the internet the other day and started looking at the DTS website where i stumbled across DTS premier suite. I started looking at all the other features and it seemed pretty cool so i went to find a way to download it. It was then that i noticed that it costs nearly $1500!!! Being only 15 its a little out of my price range. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for audio software like premier suite that doesn't cost that much (free would be best). Thanks for all the help

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

If you're looking for a player with plugins for effects etc - get Foobar 2000 (http://www.foobar2000.org/)
Make sure you look at the documentation & search head-fi for tips on how to use it - rather then expecting to be spoon fed. People here will help but you've got to be prepared to do some work on this yourself too ok.
And don't get put off by the interface. You can make it shiny with skins etc. You can also tweak the sound incredibly well with dsp plugins including dolby hp.
Have fun with it.
BTW @barnstormer - you'll find an incredible number of younger gen on this site. Just because you don't get an instant answer, don't think it won't be. This site gets a huge amount of traffic. Sometimes it's not what the question is - but how you ask it that will get responses.
