Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro II vs Creative X-Fi Soundblaster

When away from home and in need of something more portable than my E7 or E9, I have been relying on a Creative X-Fi Soundblaster express card slot. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102025&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Sound+Card-_-Creative+Labs-_-29102025) It improves upon the sound quality noticeably from my onboard laptop soundcard.

However I somehow lost it when moving frown.gif, and I'm trying to find a replacement.I remember I got mine from Dell.com for 50 or so, but now the price on these has gone up, so I'm considering an alternative. All I need is something very portable with good sound. Will the Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro II (http://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Beach-Advantage-Digital-Adapter/dp/B0036VO4X4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1312270946&sr=8-1) match the sound quality of the Creative X-Fi Soundblaster?

Well anyways I went and bought it because I have heard good things about it. I'll post my results when it arrives.

It´s allways good to know about cheaper alternatives.  There´s not much stuff about this, here...

Well if anyone is interested, I just got them today and tried them out. Without having listened to the creative xfi soundblaster in a while its hard to say how they compare, but the turtle beach definitely improves clarity and soundstage compared to my laptop soundcard. From what I remember, the creative x-fi also improves clarity and soundstage, but I can't remember to what extent.
