Nuforce Udac-2 help!

All,

I just found this great forum on Google, and thought I would sign up!  I am going  to fill out my profile shortly.  My question is on the Nuforce Udac-2 - I have a new Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop, running Windows 7 64 bit OS.  I went to the Nuforce site, and followed their settings for Windows 7.  The Udac-2 worked great listining to Youtube, with a cheap pair of Sony walkman headphones.  However; I then tried to watch a DVD movie on Windows Media Player, and I got no sound at all coming out of my headphones from the Udac-2?  Anyone know how to fix this?  Any help is greatly appreciated!

Open Media Player and go to Tools > Options > Devices > Speakers I think.  I'm at work so can't see exactly how to do it, but the option to target a new device as output is there.

Otherwise, somewhere in the menu that you get by right clicking the volume icon on the taskbar, you can assign each program an output.  I have my game chat program through headphones/headset and game sounds/music go out through speakers or my uDac :)

Tool,

Thanks for the info!  I couldn't get Windows media player to work with the Udac-2, even after going into the tools setting in Media player?  I downloaded VLC media player, and had no trouble with the Udac-2.  So; I will be using VLC!  Thanks again for the replysmile.gif
