Sorry, I have to ask, is it hard hardstyle or soft hardstyle? Soft hardstyle sounds like trance but has no bass line and lots of distortion everywhere. Hard hardstyle sounds, well, a bit like this and this.

It's simply hardstyle.

you mean oldskool hardstyle compared to nu-style(what made today). i like lot of oldskool hardstyle. the newer stuff sounds more like trance. even modern Gabber(dutch hardcore) is becoming softer sounding more trance like. i do like of modern hardcore and hardstyle as well cause i'm a sucker for female vocals combined with euphoric melodies.

your mix was great till around 5:01. that build-up was getting intense and amazing till you just cut it out and dropped in those drums that quite didn't match the last euphoric build up.after that the energy was just gone.you made it up tho at around 9:39-9:40 by letting the melody kick in right after the vocals. overall it was a great mix and very good work. i enjoyed it a lot.

The two tracks I listed were made well after 2003. Try '08 and '11. The Slim Shore rework of dominator is the first I've heard that doesn't make me want to open a major artery.

lol if you thought that you'll love Angerfist's version. pretty beast man tongue.gif i like many electronic genres and most stuff i listen to is no where near existent or seen light of day here in the U.S. especially when it comes to hardstyle, industrial hardcore, gabber, ect.

lol, you guise are still replying to this thread.

angerfist's was uninspiring - I don't even think it was a remix, just a completely different track also called dominator, they bear nothing in common whatsoever. My experience of angerfist in general is uninspring. If you want real hardcore, look no futher than Ophidian. If you want to go past hardcore, Enzyme X is what you're looking for.

Edit: sorry, discogs does list it as a remix of human resource.

 (3:20 for buildup)

 (2:02 for buildup)
