HUD-MX1 upsamples by default

So, I bought an HUD-MX1 to drive my ah-d2000's today and I've been disappointed. They sound very withdrawn in the vocals and don't stand out as much as my stupid little audio advantage micro II. I was about to give up hope for this little amp when I started poking around windows 7's audio setup and noticed it was upsampling the ouptut. Under playback devices -> SPDF Interface -> Supported Formats -> sample rates , only 48khz was selected. After selecting 44.1 and 96khz i've seen the light. This amp is a marked improvement over the Micro II (there is sanity in the world) and I'm finally enjoying my music again. What a relief.

I've discovered the same thing with my HUD-MX1 as well. Sounds a lot better after selecting 44.1 and 96 :)
