That's not a bad idea, and I'm tired of people thinking the Apple iBuds are horrible. They aren't horrible, but they aren't amazing either. Sure there flat, but I happen to like the sound signature.

There not very good earbuds, that doesn't mean they are horrible.

I just realized those custom tips can be used for other earbuds as well.

Yeah, apple earbuds  really aren't that bad.

I think that if someone is so concerned about sq and was educated enough on the subject to know the benefits of custom molded tips,  they would just buy a new headphone. Investing time and money into ibuds is kinda ridiculous.

But the idea of one custom tip that can fit multiple headphones is very cool; I would not use them with my ibuds tho.

I just got back from the audiologist and the UM56 just cost me $130, now that was for my UM3X RC's which cost me $400 (worth it) now Ibuds are $10-$30 and I imagine these tips would cost the same ($130), WHY?!?!

I was thinking of getting CUSTOM•FIT tips ($100) for my ER6's which cost $80, but they've lasted 4 years and are still in excellent shape, not to mention sound awesome. but $130 for $10-$30 buds? not worth it.
