currently use pc with the essence st, but thinking of getting a yulong d100 dac

I don't know which route to go down..either mac and use fedilia or amarra as a music player or another alternative

or keep my pc and carrying on using foobar & wasapi even though its abit flaky in windows 7

will be using akg 701 & hd 600s

m audio bx5a deluxe for speakers

( take into account I can get an mac for cheap)

which would better suit me? an macbook pro/ imac or mac mini

thanks all

What problems are you having with foobar?

Benchmark Audio released a good, no-nonsense guide to getting your PC set up for uninterrupted, bit-perfect audio ( http://www.benchmarkmedia.com/wiki/index.php/Windows_7_Audio_Playback_-_Setup_Guide )

I would advise against buying a Yulong D100, its reliability is in question.

like times with wasapi on it wont even sound loud enough, not even close, then i take it off and it sounds better, also the problem with playing other videos/music outside of foobar
