Hello,

I just bought the monster turbine pro Copper. is it really worth spending $20 extra bucks for these? I see quite good reviews around. Or the tips that come with these are the same?

thanks

For me those tips didn`t do it. After all the swapping etc I ended up just using medium silicone tips.

Really? Hmm. My headphones arrive tomorrow. I just started reading some reviews. I think the copper already comes with super tips. If they do, that would be great hence the price.

Anyone whos bought the copper know anything about this? Do they already come with super tips? I read another review that said that they only come with foam super tips but not silicon O.o

They come with both.

The MTPC I received a few months ago came with all the variation of super tips, gel and foam. They didn't work for me though, none of the size is a right fit.

The gel supertips are just weird sizing. None work for me either.  I like the foam tips though.

****. i heard foam doesnt help the bass much. I read the gel are special for bass (i cant live without punchy bass). irony if only the foam would fit =S

I've read that same thing about the gels but never found it to be true but maybe that's because they didn't fit me...

Foam is usually good with bass.

Could be the reason. the ones i have now are from the original turbine, the vanillas, the XL fit me, the sound was a lot better, BUT, they come off every time i talk or move to much, i get tired of that. Sometimes im in to a song so much that i dont want nobody to talk to me because i know that if i talk they'll come out of place. Hate it, i just want one's that fit well and that i can at least talk.

Try a smaller tip and insert it more deeply. As for the gel Supertips, I tried them recently with my Miles Davis, and they just made the highs way too "splashy"(?). Don't know how to describe it really.

Ok, will do, hope it helps. haha yeah, i know what you mean, i hate that. I guess ill have a lot of testing to do. By the way, how do you guys carry the "mp3 player" while listening? I used to carry it in my pocket, but when i sat down, the cable had to bend and in a month the cable "broke" on the inside having my right phone damaged. Do i have to carry it in my hand all of the time or am i obligated to use a belt strap?

I will put them in into my waist pouch which is rectangular in shape,so i can move freely.Without belt i got to bring my tote bag along for them.

I supposed that would of been the best way. Its just where i live, its a bit dangerous to keep things out in the open cause they try to steal them lol. thats why i always keep things in my pocket, but because of that i damaged my turbine vanilla =(  i guess ill just use them at home and if i go out, used some cheap ones.

and now with that bent plug its going to be even more difficult to put in my pocket.

Ok! Got them! They're fantastic! And yes, they did come with the super tips, both foam and gel! As for the sound, the vanilla and copper have almost the same bass, punchy and clear. Though, of course the copper have its upgrades which are very significant! After listening to the copper i realised that in the vanilla the bass clouds the mids and highs a bit. With the coppers you can hear very clearly the mids and highs and the awesome bass is still there.

Thank God the super tips fit me. Actually the one that came already placed with the phones where the ones for me LOL. Though, the left ear bud fits perfectly, the right not that much, its just a bit small, but the next size level is too big for me, but still, they're the closest im going to get to perfect fit.

As for the warranty, this is what monster said:

"Lifetime means lifetime, 1 years or a 100 years.

If the damage done is your fault we’ll replace them one time.  Make sure to hold onto the receipt.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.  Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Thanks for the advise guys, in the end im very happy with these.
