Focusrite Saffire 6 and a 4-channel mixer...possible?

I've been a headfi stalker for quite some time but never had much to offer or ask, but I come now asking a favor from those who know digital audio and "dj" set-up's.

I've done tons of research on this topic, and have asked on gear slutz, but they are probably to pretentios to answer this noob (for them) question.

Here it is: I am trying to rock a Focusrite Saffire 6 USB that running to a Numark M6 (I don't have these physically, yet), which is a 4-channel mixer. Well, heres where I get noob: Basically the outputs of the Saffire 6 have four RCA-two of which can be balanced with TRS- outs. The mixer has 4 channels, the saffire 6 has 4 outs. Can I hook up one channel to each output and expect it to work?

Why I doubt myself? Well, an RCA has two connectors (right and left), however I only have 4 total outputs, which are listed as TRS and RCA?

I can obviously use a 2-channel mixer without a problem, but can I use a 4-channel mixer? How? Do I need a RCA > TRS/Stereo cable or adapter?

Let me say I really appreciate any help. Thanks.

Copied from focucsrite site:

Analogue Audio Outputs (Outputs 1-4)
• 2 x TRS analogue outputs (Outputs 1-2)
• 4 x RCA Phono outputs (Outputs 1-4)
• 1 x TRS stereo headphone output (switchable to outputs 1 and 2, or 3 and 4)

I have a saffire 6 USB. Headphone output is silent but there is a faint ringing noise on the RCA out. I'm guessing the TRS out is going to be ok like the headphone out is. I've not tried it though.

Outputs 3 and 4 are only accessible via ASIO output.

Interesting. So you literally have to change the sound device to utilize outputs 3 & 4?

On the Saffire 6 user guide (link) Page 9 it has a figurative set-up "DJ" set-up.

The picture shows 4 wires, going to 4 different numbered outputs, to a mixer that looks like it has 4 channels. In short, am I seeing things correctly? Is that 4 channels?

Yes the saffire 6 has 4 output channels.
