Mount an SACD iso in windows?

Thread Starter

Does anyone know of any of any software in Windows 7 that will mount an .iso image of an SACD? I have tried WinCDEmu and and SlySoft's Virtual CloneDrive, neither of which worked. Also, if I want to use Korg's AudioGate, does the image need to be mounted?

Thanks,

SACD is encrypted. You can mount the Red Book layer if it has one, but your PC's drive cannot read the Scarlet Book (SACD) layer, which requires a specific laser and decryption. I think Sony made a few Vaio machines that could read SACDs, but were locked down so you cannot rip from it. There are no computer drives currently available that can read SACDs.

This thread will inevitably lead to discussion of bypassing the encryption. Head-Fi does not allow discussion of ways to do this, so I am closing this thread.
