Hey fellow head-fiers...need your help...I am trying to find a good contact for sijosae, a South Korean diy'er who was formerly active in several diy forums...not so much here. How about some leads please. Thank you.

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

Haven't seen him around for a while, years in fact. Most of his stuff is available on this board: http://www.headphoneamp.co.kr/bbs/zboard.php?id=diy_sijosae

Thanks fallenangel, I had found this listing at another site. This guy is certainly a prodigious producer of diy amps! I also found a twitter account for a sijosae but am not sure if its the same guy as everything is in Korean. This sijosae is now a 40 year old engineer (fits) and apparently an avid biker which might account for his current lack of participation in forums. Nonetheless, thanks for the input. ![]()

Indeed his name is Jeong-Seob Shin (he had it on some of his schematics).
Here is his Twitter account http://twitter.com/#!/sijosae I know it's him, because he has a link to his blog http://blog.naver.com/twophase and in that blog you can find this entry with a link to his amplifier http://blog.naver.com/twophase/110082688682. I used Google translator for that entry and know it's him. So from Twitter to blog to amplifiers page.
And he also has a facebook account http://www.facebook.com/sijosae (Same picture and name as in Twitter)
If you try to contact him and manage to get any responce, then please let us know. Cause I have yet to receive a reply to the e-mail I sent him 6 months ago.

But did you receive a reply when you posted here? 2milion pairs of eyes (give or take) is much more than 1 pair. Perhaps not as good, but sometimes quantity>Quality.
I wrote a hai-ku about this.
