best usb cable for NuForce Icon-2

i m thinking about ordering NuForce Icon-2  dac so that i can connect my headphones to the dac and the dac to my laptop and so listen to music

(my laptops integrated soundcard is very bad quality and i heard if i buy an usb dac and connect him via usb cable to the laptop ,that the soundcard from laptop wont have any influence to the quality of sound)

i wanted to ask you which usb cable(to connect the dac with pc) should i order and would go the best with nuforce icon-2

(someone told me before that the cable is important for the sound transport from pc to usb dac)

I bought my cables from "cables to go" they are high speed shielded 28 awg.  I like them cuz they are short (6 inch and 12 inch).

 

Since then I have been buying all my other video/audio cables from monoprice .com and love those cables, if I were to need more USB, I would go to Monoprice just to see if they are as nice as their other cables.

on that sites which you have recommended there are many cables , how should i know which would be the best for NuForce Icon-2

Go with the cheapest cable you can find that doesn't feel like it'll fall apart from you touching it. USB is digital and as such cable quality doesn't matter as long as it's not broken.

Just get whatever size you want with the correct plug types.   You can probably call either place for assistance.

if i should use a cheap cable and if the quality of the cable isnt important , for that dac i will use my usb cable, which im using to connect my external hdd and the pc

if its true all what you told me , than i dont need to buy a special cable for dac

i saw in the pictures of that dac that it has the port in it which has my external hdd too and with that cable for hdd i can connect pc and dac too

 

will i get than the optimal sound quality of that dac with that cable

Yes. Any USB cable will give you the same quality unless it's broken of course.
