I have decided to find a new home for my T1. It is in cosmetically and sonically pristine condition. I got it with Moon Audio Black Dragon cable and 1/4" connector. Later, I reterminated it to 4-pin XLR for my Phoenix amp. I have also made a two-feet XLR->TSR converter cable with Mogami wire so it can be used for both balanced or SE connection.
The right channel driver was damaged last year due to one bad tube in my CSP2+ amp so I have shipped T1 back to Moon Audio to get a new matched pair of drivers from Beyer. The new pair of drivers cost me almost $500. But now this is a T1 with new recent drivers (close to March 2011), if you care about it. This T1 sounds great with ample bass and smooth high in my system. The strength is its pinpoint accurate focusing, large dynamic range, and solid/snappy bass with absolute dark background and excellent clarity. It has been my primary phone until I ventured into Stax and Ortho phones. Still, T1's ultra fine sonic texture and snappy bass is top of all. It is very hard to me to sell it since it competes well with my other two systems. However, I cannot justify to keep three systems and have to sell my T1 and maybe Phoenix later.
The new T1 with 6' Black Dragon sells for 1360 at Moon Audio. I would like to ask for the listed price plus the shipping (and fee if you use Paypal without Gift Option). Basically you got a T1 with newly manufactured driver and Black Dragon cable with flexible connections to whatever amp you plan to use.
