Its just im quite sad that i already spent $220 on the coppers and noticing that the MD are just $40 away! I read the MD are a lot better in almost every aspect.   If i could only go back in time and buy the MD's. I guess in the end, if i dont resist, ill end up saving and buying the MD's to see if its that true.

You are fine.  MDs are better for acoustic and jazz (depending on your timbre preferences), rap, hip hop.

From my listening comparisons they were identical in the low-end.   

The bass between the two is pretty similar, but the MD is better in pretty much every other regard.

I have the MTPC, and I actually prefer the bass in those over the MTPG. It's punchier, and definitely more detailed, where I find the bass in the golds just a little bit more muddy and less controlled.

I jumped from the original turbines to the coppers. the bass with the vanillas was punchier but killed the mids and highs, but with the coppers it was a bit less punchy but everything else was a lot more clearer.

I suppose from gold to copper its pretty similar.
