They are all around the same price, give or take.
Matrix Quattro around £550 (would get the Quattro AMP at some point later though), Schiit £600 and AG £650.
It's gonna be paired with some Sennheisers 595, Ultrasone 900 pro, UE TripleFi 10 and most likely (when saved up) LCD-2.
I listen to a diversity of different genres. Though, a lot of them pack some punch at the lower end.
My Ultrasone is already a little bit at the bright side so a bright dac/amp is not that much preferred. It can be detailed and neutral, but not piercing bright with the 900s.
I was pretty set at the Schiit Asgard and BitFrost. However, I do need an amp/dac rather sooner than later. (September is a bit late as I am selling my Fiio E7/E9).
This topic has probably been done to death already, but even if you don't post. Please leave a vote. Your input is much appreciated.
I am also open for other suggestions, DAC and AMP combo within in the £500-700 (VAT/Duty/Shipping Included) range.
