Which would you choose for this headphone. Anyone have experience with these two amps that would care to comment and lead me in the right direction??

Haven't heard the Musical Fidelity one ... but the Burson 160 sounds really really good with my pair of HD650's ...

@BIGBUDDHA....Does the fact that it has stepped volume control bother you at all?? As in not being able to adjust the volume exactly to your liking?

Reviews with the HA-160 & sennheiser line are pretty positive. I've researched on the musical fidelity but there's no info on how it pairs the HD650's. confused.gif

Take the M1 HPA, The HD650 will appreciate the sparkling high of M1 HPA. Its also very quiet amp and have enough power to drive the LCD-2 to very high vol. It has no noise at all (its has a very very slight hiss when u turn vol knob all the way up). I don't have the HD650 but if it match the LCD-2, it should also match the HD650. I also like the big volume knob and is very linear at all level. It is a very analogue sounding amp. Sound stage is wide and bass is very tight and can go really really low. It also has good attack.

M1 HPA is not good at driving IEM, it has some hiss to it.
