USPS shipment problems?

Hey Guys,

Having an issue with an order from Craig at Whiplash, he sent me my gear on the 11th of July with USPS via Express Mail International, the package has since stalled at 'Processed Through Sort Facility, July 12, 2011, 4:57 pm, ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS)' and hasn't been updated since. This was supposed to (by my understanding) take 3-5 business days. This has not been significantly longer than that.

Can anybody from the US confirm that USPS are having some problems? Or if something is going on.

If anyone over there feels like being extra nice, my tracking number is EC735389673US. If anyone could call USPS and ask what's going on that would be awesome!

Cheers All,

Aaron

it looks to me like it went through customs and stopped being tracked, or it simply hasnt reached a new tracking point yet.

i have had packages stop being tracked after going through customs before.. its not too uncommon actually - sometimes it just goes off the radar.. there are all kinds of non-worrisome reasons this can happen..

i would give it a few days.  Its probably just slow.

if it still doesnt show.. definitely get someone to call USPS for you.. or of course do it yourself.   They are pretty helpful in locating a lost package from my experience.

Hm....kinda odd that it's taking this long to exit the US considering that it's express mail international.  From my experience, it should take at most a week to exit the country. confused_face.gif

USPS tracking isn't always accurate. And I don't believe USPS have a tracking system since the tracking number is usu sally a Delivery confirmation number.

Thanks all for you input.

I am now very concerned. As it has still not arrived. And still hasn't updated it's tracking at all. I have has 2 other package that were sent after this one from the US arrive to me already. So I'm not sure what's happened to this one, and I'm beginning to think it's been lost. Any way I can follow up on this from my end as Craig is not replying to my emails. :(
