I want external sound card , pls advise

Ok i used Azuntech prelude desktop card for my desktop. Now i bought my laptop , same songs sound horrible.

 

Prelude was 24bit 192khz card.

 

I need same quality external sound card.

 

Some of the things i consider,

 

Musicland 02 us (135)

TC connect 6 (190)

 

i don't mind spend 200-300 if i can get really good sound card. Do not want headphone ampifier.

 

Just pure DAC that will be going into my creative T3 sound system.

 

I appreciate your various inputs. I must take decison.  Musicland is from honkong ...may take 4 weeks to get it.

If you have a digital out from your computers, Toslink, coax or USB, then find an external DAC.

I have an EMU 0404 USB. I love the input and output flexibility, the microphone inputs, the fact that you get SPDIF coax and optical in and out. It's a fantastic device, and it sounds very good.

I might have to wait for essence one. best of both worlds. Can be used as headphone amp and well as input to my creative t3 system
