Hi, i have one question. In this card can connect speakers by coax, no optic only coaxial? In specification this card can't find any description about this... I want to play on my laptop movies in BR in 5.1 with DTS HD but i don't know this is possible? In my speakers i have coax in and i need sound card with coaxial out. Sorry for my english...

I have one question - why did you post this in 'High-End Audio' ?

The X-FI HD has USB to Toslink S/PDIF conversion, as well as Toslink to USB conversion. To the other poster , I think the OP picked the perfect spot for his inquiry, since the X-FI, while relatively inexpensive for a full interface, is very high in performance.
