I've busted my fiio e3's jack socket thingamagig. Now what i'll proceed to do is desolder it and replace it with another one, where can I find one? (Within the household)
It has 2 jacks, can I desolder the other one and use it as an output and soldier a cable directly to the board? Please help! I paid 15 bucks for this thing, and 15 bucks aint little for my country.

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

What exactly is "busted?" If it's just loose then open up and resolder the points.
If it has been ripped apart then depending on what parts you have on hand, you may be able to replace it. I'm not sure what you mean by 'within the household' unless you have an old radio or cd player that you want to desolder.....
The last option I can think of is to buy a new part to replace it. If you are getting it online its probably not worth it because the price shipped will be almost as much as getting a new E3. Maybe if you know of any local electronics parts shops take a look there.
Best of luck.

Busted, Currently desoldered. I've managed to keep the plastic shell safe. Only thing that's missing from the e3 is the jack and currently i've got the amp itself out. it appears to have 4 solder points , 2 of which are connected to the battery thingie.
