HRT Music Streamer ii Setup

I tried to setup my HRT Music Streamer ii which I received in the mail today and I plugged it into my computer with the USB cable and it registered and set itself up. Than I used a RCA cable to connect the Music Streamer II to the Line Out RCA jacks on a Fiio E9 Amplifier. There is no sound that plays. Do I need to use the Line In on my Fiio E9 Amplifier? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. You're delivering the signal from the music streamer ii IINTO the E9. Therefore you should use the line-in. Line out is used when you don't want to use headphones and use speakers. You'd connect line out to the speakers. (while the connection between the dac and the e9 remains the same.)

Thank you very much. So I guess I need to get a RCA to 3.5mm cable than :-D
